Terms and Conditions - Brazil on Foot

Welcome to the Terms and Conditions of Brazil on Foot, specializing in exceptional travels throughout Brazil. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

Payment Methods:

We accept a variety of payment methods to ensure your convenience. This includes ACH, SEPA, BACS, Sofort, iDeal, and credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay, and Carte Bleue. Processing fees may apply, ranging between 1% and 2.9%.

Reservation Policy:

To secure your booking, we require reservations to be made at least 45 days in advance. A 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund:

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the travel date will be fully refunded, minus a 25% administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days in advance are non-refundable.

Example:

Total trip price per person - $5,000.
Amount collected at the moment of reservation per person - $2,500 (50%).
Cancellations made 30 days or more BEFORE the trip start date will be refunded at a rate of 25% of the total amount paid per person - $1,250.
Cancellations made between 29 and 1 day BEFORE the trip start date are non-refundable.

Changes to Itinerary:

We reserve the right to make changes to the trip itinerary, including alterations to hotels, activities, or transportation if necessary to ensure safety or the quality of the experience. We will make every effort to notify clients of these changes in advance.

Customer Responsibility:

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary travel documents, including a valid passport, visas, and required vaccinations. It is also the customer's responsibility to inform us of any dietary needs or special requirements in advance.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover eventualities such as last-minute cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.

Limitation of Liability:

We are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage to property, or any other damages arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, actions of third parties, or transportation failures.

Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution:

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the parties agree to submit the dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brazil. By using the services of Brazil On Foot, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before making your reservation. There are two ways to book: Firstly, directly reserve through the “Destinations” tab for your desired destination, where we offer pre-made packages. Alternatively, send us message through our channels.

Valid passport: All foreign visitors must have a valid passport. Ensure it’s valid for at least six months from the entry date into Brazil. Visa (if required): Brazil maintains visa waiver agreements for citizens of many countries. Check before traveling. Proof of vaccination (if required): Verify Brazil’s public health requirements and your country’s vaccination requirements before traveling.
